Job Description

Summary

Keywords Studios are looking for a talented Custom Development and Professional Services Engineer to join their team in the Americas, United States. This role sits at the heart of delivering solutions to clients, working closely with multiple teams to design, build, and deploy complex integrations. You will be an integral part of the custom development and professional services team, collaborating with customers to design, build, and deploy solutions.

About the Role

As a Custom Development and Professional Services Engineer, you will be responsible for developing infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CDK, or Pulumi, developing CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments, and developing custom automation using Lambda Functions or Azure functions. You will also be responsible for managing code repositories, performing peer code reviews, and maintaining code hygiene. Additionally, you will be mentoring and training implementation engineers, assisting with proof of concepts for strategic and enterprise customers, and working side-by-side with customers to design, build, and deploy complex integrations.

Accountabilities

  • Developing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CDK, or Pulumi
  • Developing CI/CD pipelines for Cloud Deployments
  • Developing custom automation (Lambda Functions/ Azure functions)
  • Efficient with programming languages (Python, JavaScript, bash, powershell, C#)
  • Managing code repositories and performing peer code reviews
  • Ability to maintain the code hygiene and writing test cases for the solutions

The Candidate we're looking for

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of SaaS experience in a specialization such as consulting services, technical pre-sales or technical project management

Technical skills:

  • Proficient with any of: Python, Go, C#, Node.js, Powershell
  • Proficient with deploying cloud solutions on AWS or Azure (preferred)

Personal attributes:

  • Exceptionally organized and a project manager at heart
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
  • Excellent communication skills and are comfortable leading meetings with customer executives and analysts alike
