What We Do
At Epic Games, we're looking for a Senior Technical UI Designer to join our team. As a Senior Technical UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interface (UI) components and experiences for our games and game engines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement UI components and experiences for our games and game engines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX Designers, UI Artists, and UI Programmers, to ensure that UI components and experiences meet the needs of our users
- Develop and maintain UI design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across our games and game engines
- Conduct user research and testing to inform UI design decisions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI design trends and technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI design, with a focus on technical UI design
- Strong understanding of UI design principles and human-centered design
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision
- Experience with front-end development tools such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Nice to Have
- Experience with game development and game engines
- Experience with UI design for mobile and web applications
- Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and principles
- Experience with design systems and guidelines
- Experience with user research and testing
