Join our global Acoustics team at Logitech's office in Hsinchu, Taiwan, as an Acoustic Engineer. Your primary focus will be on new product development, including design and validation as a member of cross-functional teams. You will conduct electro-acoustic measurements, tuning, analysis, and reporting using systems such as Klippel, Soundcheck, Audio Precision, and other measurement tools. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, organize and participate in subjective listening tests, and maintain lab equipment and document test procedures. Additionally, you will use 3D modeling tools and rapid prototyping equipment to bring concepts into the world and produce functional prototypes.
Key qualifications include knowledge in the fundamentals of speaker transducers and microphones, familiarity with measurement systems like Audio Precision, Klippel RD, Soundcheck, etc., experienced in prototyping, 3D modeling skills in Creo or a similar 3D CAD package, analytical capability of acoustic simulation and measurement result, communication in both Chinese and English, and passion for sound. Preferred skills include experienced in rapid prototyping equipment, experienced in acoustic modeling, presentation to groups with diverse backgrounds, and exceptional communication with a collaborative mindset.
