We are searching for a Lead Animator to join our team working on Fortnite, to develop Emote concepts and animation for our wide variety of IP partners and Epic Original Content. A successful candidate should have a great understanding of the fundamentals of animation and how they relate to acting, rhythm, and game animation. A strong understanding of the Unreal editor, including how to implement animations, is strongly desired.

What you'll do

• Oversee and supervise/lead character-specific animations such as dances and emotes in Maya and Unreal, using our ART tools set
• Guide emotes from initial concept, through animation, and final implementation, in Unreal Engine

What you need

• You have an animation reel showing key-framed character and creature animations
• Strong experience with Maya and gameplay systems such as Unreal Engine
