We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our project team and ensure that project goals are met. The successful candidate will have experience in managing services projects, particularly in the video games industry. They will be responsible for planning and executing projects efficiently, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team and ensure that project goals are met
• Plan and execute projects efficiently, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget
• Develop and implement project schedules, risk plans, and communication plans
• Ensure that tasks are allocated appropriately to team members and that all relevant information is clearly communicated
• Monitor and control project costs and ensure that they are within budget
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
• Escalate problems and issues in a timely manner
• Ensure that Monthly Billing Milestones are met
• Work with the team to establish an effective work review process and ensure that project quality goals are met

Team Management

• Treat team members fairly and with respect
• Maintain a regular and constant dialogue with the team to stay abreast of their concerns and challenges
• Recognize good performance and highlight it to the team
• Develop and empower the team with appropriate delegation of authority and responsibility
• Regularly communicate with the Art team and share feedback from clients and the direction of the project

Requirements

• Good knowledge of managing services projects, especially in a video games company
• Good knowledge of Project Management Best Practices
• Knowledge of game art production pipeline desirable, but not essential
• At least 2 years of experience of working as a Project Manager in a services organization
