What You'll Do

As a Senior Gameplay AI Programmer, you'll play a key role in our small and focused team. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining central AI systems for our Fortnite game. You'll work closely with our art and design teams to create and iterate on AI features for gameplay. You'll also experiment with game design concepts and iterate rapidly, ensuring solid architectural and algorithmic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with art and design teams to create and iterate on AI features for gameplay
• Develop and maintain central AI systems for Fortnite
• Experiment with game design concepts and iterate rapidly
• Ensure solid architectural and algorithmic decisions
• Optimize and correct bugs in existing AI systems

What We're Looking For

• Experience in developing games and launching AAA titles with AI
• Experience with AI systems (Behavior Trees, Finite State Machine, Pathfinding, Animation, etc.)
• Excellent C++ skills and ability to create code and architect AI mechanics and tools for gameplay
• Strong knowledge of games and ability to articulate strengths and weaknesses in existing game designs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in live service games is a plus
• Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently
• Creativity in problem-solving and ability to think beyond established solutions
