We are seeking a Senior Platform Programmer to join our team. As a Senior Platform Programmer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability of various games on multiple platforms, including PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
What you'll do
- Analyse and optimise memory and performance in systems that need to be scaled from small systems to mobile systems.
- Ensure that the technical approach proposed for a specific feature meets both surface-level requirements and deeper programming requirements.
- Propose and develop necessary changes to the system to ensure reliability and work with game teams to integrate these changes.
- Create tools to automate and validate performance in systems where performance is critical.
What you need
- Experience in professional game development and launching AAA titles.
- A sharp analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong skills in C++ and the ability to code and create game systems and tools.
- Familiarity with scripting systems such as Blueprint, Lua, Python, etc.
- Experience with console and mobile devices is preferred.
- Experience in profiling and optimising performance.
- Experience with the Unreal Engine is highly preferred.
- Experience with live service games is preferred.
