We are seeking a skilled Technical Artist to join our team at Criterion Games, working on the Battlefield franchise. As a Technical Artist, you will be responsible for supporting content teams to create high-quality maps and storytelling experiences for our players.
In this role, you will collaborate with fellow technical artists, artists, and engineers to develop a varied range of gameplay experiences in our Frostbite engine. You will also support content workflows to realise the creative vision of the game, while delivering a consistent experience to our players.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with technical art team to support a wide variety of aspects of map creation, including content performance, asset management, VFX, procedural content workflows, shaders, scripting, and lighting.
- Working closely with content teams to ensure that the creative vision of the game is realised, while delivering a consistent experience to our players.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to artists and designers to help them achieve their goals.
- Analyzing complex data and providing actionable feedback to content creators to help them improve their work.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of art pipelines and engine workflows, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about games and has a strong technical background, with experience working on level creation inside a game engine.
