SIMAGIC has unveiled their new Neo-X button box series, introducing four distinct wheel combinations ranging from a 310mm GT style to a deep-dish 350mm rally wheel. The new lineup targets the mid-range market with competitive pricing – the Neo-X hub alone retails for $199/£155, whilst complete wheel packages are available from $329/£255.
The Neo-X button box itself represents a significant step forward for SIMAGIC, featuring eight programmable RGB buttons, two seven-way multi-position rotary switches, and two thumb rotary encoders. The carbon fibre composite faceplate not only looks the part but should provide the durability needed for intensive use. All variants include customisable RGB lighting effects compatible with both SimPro Manager and SimHub.
The Four New Combinations
The Neo-X 310G leads the lineup with a 310mm synthetic leather wheel featuring orange accent stitching and a shallow dish design. This GT-style wheel includes shifter and clutch paddles as standard and maintains full Maglink compatibility for seamless integration with SIMAGIC wheelbases.
Moving up in size, the Neo-X 330T offers a more traditional round wheel at 330mm, again with synthetic leather and orange stitching. Like the 310G, it includes full paddle shifters and Maglink support, making it a versatile option for various racing disciplines.
The Neo-X 330R takes a different approach, pairing the button box with SIMAGIC’s classic 330mm wheel featuring red stitching instead of orange. This appears to be aimed at those who prefer the established aesthetic whilst wanting the new button box functionality.
Perhaps most interesting is the Neo-X 350W, a proper deep-dish rally and drift-focused wheel. At 350mm, it’s the largest in the range and notably doesn’t support Maglink as the button box sits in front of the wheel rather than behind. SIMAGIC has thoughtfully included a spacer for correct wheelbase spacing, and whilst it lacks paddle shifters due to the deep dish design, this makes perfect sense for its intended use.

Market Positioning and Competition
The Neo-X series slots neatly into SIMAGIC’s expanding ecosystem, sitting below their premium GT Neo (£289) and GTS (£289) offerings whilst providing more functionality than the basic P-series wheels (£99-£109). This pricing strategy puts them in direct competition with Moza’s RS wheel range and Fanatec’s ClubSport lineup.
What’s particularly clever here is the modular approach. Rather than forcing customers into expensive complete wheels, SIMAGIC allows mixing and matching the Neo-X hub with different rims. This flexibility has been a winning formula for competitors, and it’s good to see SIMAGIC embracing it.
Alternatives to Consider
Haptic Pedal Reactor GT Also Announced
SIMAGIC has also introduced the new Haptic Pedal Reactor GT (P-HPR GT) for the P500/P1000/P1000i/P2000 pedal series. Positioned between the standard P-HPR and Neo variants in terms of power, this mid-range haptic upgrade provides enhanced brake feel without the premium price of the top-tier option.
Availability and Final Thoughts
While specific availability dates haven’t been confirmed, the Neo-X hub and complete wheel packages are already showing as “In Stock” at several retailers. The confirmed pricing of $329/£255 for complete packages positions these competitively against Moza’s RS V2 wheels and Fanatec’s ClubSport lineup.
The Neo-X series demonstrates SIMAGIC’s continued push to offer options at every price point. Whilst they’ve established themselves with premium offerings like the GT Neo and GTS, this mid-range expansion makes their ecosystem more accessible without compromising on build quality. The inclusion of a proper rally-focused option with the 350W is particularly welcome – it’s a segment often overlooked by manufacturers chasing the GT and formula markets.
